DOWNING
Geneva, June 10 –
Mrs. Julia
Marie Downing, 61, died about 6:30 pm today at her home near Polingtown
after an illness of one day.
Surviving are the husband, Richard
(Dick) Downing, near Polingtown; two daughters, Mrs. Verda Freed, near
Polingtown and Mrs. Joan Hart, Bryant; three grandchildren and two brothers,
Charles and Cyril Liggett, Muncie.
The body, at the Hardy & Hardy
Funeral Home here, will be returned to the residence at 4 pm Tuesday. It
will be taken back to the funeral home at 10 am Thursday for services at 2
pm that day. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, near Bryant.
