Henry Deaton, age 77 a resident of Portland passed away Sunday, April 23,
2017 at Jay County Hospital. He was retired from Standard Brush and Broom in
Portland after 28 years.
Henry Deaton was born January 4, 1940 in
Jackson, Kentucky the son of John and Callie (Hall) Deaton. He was married
to Lois Gross on September 22, 1962.
Survivors Include:

beloved wife- Lois Deaton, Portland, Indiana
1 Son- Anthony “Tony”
Deaton (wife-Michelle), Portland, Indiana
1 Daughter- Sheila Twigg,
Portland, Indiana
1 Brother- Joe Deaton, Jackson, Kentucky

Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren
Visitation will be held from
5-8pm on Friday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday at the Williamson and
Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Herb Hummel will officiate the
services and burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, west of Bryant.
Memorials may be directed to the family to assist with expenses.
