David E. Arnold age 50, of rural Portland passed away Monday June 1, 2020
in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born in Portland on
October 13, 1969 the son of Jerry and Wanda (Brotherton) Arnold. He was
married on July 24, 2018 to Kimberly Huey who survives. David was in
maintenance for Minnich Poultry. He was a 1988 Jay County High School
graduate and also a graduate of Hobart School of Welding. He was an avid
deer hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed Harley Davidson and firearms.
Surviving are his wife Kimberly, his mother Wanda Arnold of Bryant, Sons
Remington Arnold of Geneva, Tucker Arnold of Fishers and Zackary Twigg of
Decatur, Daughters Libby Arnold of Fishers and Mackenzie Huey of Portland,
Sister Malinda Gambill (husband Jack) of Berne, Two grandchildren and one
nephew and one niece.
Funeral services will be held Thursday June 4,
2020 at 10:00 AM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Bob Schroeder
presiding. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bryant.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 – 7:00 PM. Memorials can be made to
the family for his children or Jay County Cancer Society.
