Edith Maxine (Myers) Yaney

7/23/1922 - 7/28/2015

Edith Maxine Yaney, age 93, 2411 East 100 South Portland passed away
Tuesday at her residence. She was born in Adams County, Indiana July
23, 1922 the daughter of Moses and Bertha (Tumbleson) Myers. She was
married in 1938 to Virgil Yaney and he died in 1989. She was retired
from Franklin Electric in Bluffton. She was a member of U.M.W. and
was an avid bowler.

Surviving are one son Jesse Yaney of Bryant, Four daughters Marcella Steveson of Portland, Janice Schmidt of Geneva, Judy Bruns of Bryant and Sharlene Duncan of Portland, Fifteen
grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 3:00 P.M. In the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastors
Gordon Jackson and Bob Denney presiding. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to
State of the Heart Hospice.
