Frederick Longnecker, 64, of Geneva, a retired farmer,
died at 8:05 a.m. Thursday at the Jay county hospital, Portland.
Born in Jay county on March 15, 1911, he was a son of Ambruse [sic] William
and Maude Ritenour-Longnecker and was married to Lola Hudson who survives.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Maude Koulas of
Portland; seven daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Thelma) Milligan of Geneva; Mrs.
Raymon (Norma) Mathys of Geneva; Mrs. Betty Barnett of Portland ; Mrs.
Marvin (Carolyn) King of Keystone; Mrs. Thomas (Patsy) Laux of Bryant; Mrs.
James (Janet) Kidow of Ridgeville; Mrs. George (Rita) Patterson of Portland;
three sisters, Mrs. Delva (Vada) Flesher of Portland; Mrs. Kenneth (Madona)
[sic]Pensinger of Portland; Mrs. Garth (Bernice) Pensinger of Clearwater,
Fla.; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Downing funeral
home, Geneva, with Rev. David Whitteberry officiating. Burial will be in the
Gravel Hill cemetery, Bryant. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5
p.m. today.
