Services for Opal C. Hunt, 94, Lakeside Manor Nursing Home,
Decatur, are set for 10
am Saturday in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home,
Portland, with Rev. Chesmond Bade
officiating. Burial will be in Gravel
Hill Cemetery at Bryant. Mrs. Hunt died Thursday morning.
Before retirement, she was employed at the H&F Bakery
in Portland.
Born Jan. 22, 1898, in Jay County, she was the daughter of
Burley and Lillie (Liggett)
Anderson. She was married April 7, 1917, to
Lee Hunt who died in 1969.
Surviving are one daughter, Guinevere Pingry,
Bryant; two grandchildren; five great
grandchildren; nine great-great
grandchildren; and two nieces.
Memorials may be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church,
Bryant.

Opal C. Hunt, 94, a former Bryant resident, died Thursday in
Lakeside Manor, Decatur.
Her husband, Lee Hunt, died in 1969. Among survivors in a
daughter.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Baird-Freeman
Funeral Home, Portland, with burial in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Bryant.
Visiting hours are 4-8 p.m. today.
Buried in Gravel Hill Cemetery
