Mrs. Mary Hoffman, 62, route 1, Bryant, wife of Loren Hoffman, and sister of two Adams County residents, died at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Geneva.
Born in Jay County on Oct. 26, 1913, she was a daughter of
Earl D. and Minnie B. Kirby-Hough and was united in marriage in Geneva on
Nov. 7, 1936, to Loren Hoffman, who survives.
Also surviving are two
sons, John and Danny, both of Portland; two sisters, Mrs. Delmas (Veda) Roe,
Monroe; Mrs. Ray (Vera) Hill, Fort Wayne; three brothers, Roscoe Hough, New
Jersey, Burley Hough, Bryant; Ivan Hough, Geneva; and five grandchildren.
One sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the
Downing Funeral Home, Geneva, with Rev. Herb Buwalda officiating. Burial
will be in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, Bryant. Friends may call at the funeral
home after 1 p.m. today.
