Golda P. Fennig dies at hospital
Mrs. Golda P. Fennig, 88, of route 2,
Bryant, died Thursday morning at the Jay county hospital.
Born Dec. 17,
1885 in Jackson township, Jay county, she was the daughter of Daniel and Viola
Gipson-Ashcraft. She was married Nov. 1, 1910 to Harry Fennig, who died June 18,
1962. He was state highway superintendent of the Ridgeville district at one
time.
Mrs. Fennig was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church at Bryant.
Surviving are one son, Richard Fleming, route 2, Bryant; one grandson,
Sidney L. Fennig, Decatur, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral
services are set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Baird-Freeman funeral home with
Rev. John Roth officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill cemetery. Callers
will be received at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
