Harold F. Derrickson, 65, of Portland, a native of
Adams county, died Monday morning in the Jay county hospital. He operated
the Derrickson Garage in Portland for 15 years.
A
native of the Geneva area, he was born July 23, 1910, a son of Frank and
Nellie Pickett-Derrickson, and was married to Zella Franks on August 17,
1929.

Survivors include the wife; one son, Willard of
Portland; one daughter, Karen Resler of Portland; one brother, Wayne of
Geneva; one sister, Mrs. William Gierhart of Portland; six grandchildren and
four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Baird-Freeman funeral home, Portland, where
friends may call after 3 p.m. today. Rev. Clarence Brock will officiate at
the services and burial will be held in Gravel Hill cemetery, located near
Bryant.
