Services are today for Harry D. Huey
Funeral services for Harry D.
Huey, 64, of Fort Wayne, a native of Adams county, were held at 1 p.m. today
at D.O. McComb & Sons funeral home, Fort Wayne. He died at 4:10 a.m.
Saturday in Parkview memorial hospital.
Mr. Huey retired in 1971 as
manager of Hudson Oil Co.
He was born in Adams county on June 20,
1909, and was the son of Troy and Bertha Holmes-Huey.
Surviving are
his wife, Mary; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Harris and Mrs. Clarence Todd,
both of Fort Wayne; a son, Richard of Fort Wayne; four brothers, Charles and
Don, both of Fort Wayne, Herman of Syracuse, and Sanger of Portland; three
sisters, Mrs. Mary Steinbrunner, Celina, O., Mrs. Fern Miller, New Corydon,
and Mrs. Dora Hill, Springport; two stepsons, William Volkman, Marion, and
Fred Volkman, Phoenix, Ariz.; and three stepdaughters, Mrs. Rose Schey and
Mrs. Margaret Gall, Phoenix and Mrs. Claudia Zumwalt, Fort Wayne.
Burial will be at New Corydon, with graveside services there Tuesday.
