Margaret C. Reedy, 65, of Richmond, died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon
at the home of a son in Harford City. She was a former resident of Adams and
Jay counties.
A private practice nurse until retirement, she was the
daughter of Harley and Bertha Church-Smith, and a native of Ohio.
Survivors include the son, Lowell R. Reedy; three sisters, Mrs. Virginia
Houser, of Mount Summit in Indiana, Betty Y. Derrickson of Kootenai, Idaho,
and Mrs. Aria Emans of Bradenton, Florida; and the mother-in-law, Thelma
Reedy of Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday
in the Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home in Portland, Rev. Gregory Smith in
charge and burial will be in Claycomb Cemetery, southeast of Portland.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3:30 p.m. Friday.
