Cora Imogene “Genie” Dull age 92, of Portland, passed away Saturday,
August 15, 2020, in Persimmon Ridge Healthcare. She was born in Jay County
on July 4, 1928, the daughter of John Moses and Essie E. (Tullis) Macklin.
She was married on April 14, 1945, to Harry C. Dull and he passed away on
January 28, 2008. She was a homemaker and was a missionary with her husband
for many years going all over the world. She was a member of the Evangelical
Methodist Church.
Surviving is three sons Stephen Dull (wife Sheron)
of Redkey, John Dull of Portland, and George Dull (wife Terri) of Upland,
Five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two
great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one
sister.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 20, 2020, at 1:00
PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Herb Hummel presiding.
Burial will follow in the Claycomb Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday
from 11:00 – 1:00 PM Memorials can be made to the Evangelical Methodist
Church.
