Gladys Younger
Gladys M. Younger, 81, 331 E. Bell
Ave., Redkey, died early today at Miller’s Merry Manor, Dunkirk.
A
longtime resident of Redkey, Mrs. Younger was employed at The Jay Garment
Co. in Portland for 10 years, then at Carr Mfg. and Willman's Bakery, both
of Redkey.
She was a member of the Redkey Nazarene Church.
Born July 15, 1911, in Adams County, she was the daughter of Alamanza and
Cora (Barr) Augburn. She was first married to Milton Louck who died in 1974.
She later married Kenneth Younger and he died in 1992.
Surviving are
three daughters. Mrs. David (Lora M.) Lea, Portland, Mrs. Jim (Sandy) Guffey
and Mrs. Frank (Ida) Helm, both of Redkey; 15 grandchildren; and seven great
-great-grandchildren.
Services are set for 1 p.m. Friday at MJS
Mortuaries Redkey Chapel with the Rev. Harmon Thrasher officiating.
Burial will be in Claycomb Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral
home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
