MRS. OPAL KREPS DUNKIRK -
Mrs. Opal M. Kreps, 73, Dunkirk, R.R. 1, died Monday night in Blackford
County Hospital, Hartford City, following a brief illness.
Born June
9, 1900, in Albany, she was the daughter of Elza and Mary (Parsons) Farrell.
She was married May 10, 1924 to Michael O. Kreps, who preceded her in death
Dec. 12, 1964.
She was a member of the Portland Church of the
Brethren.
Surviving are three sons, Harry Kreps of Muncie, Jack Kreps
of Greentown and Ronnie Kreps of Dunkirk, R. R. 1; a daughter, Mrs. Edwards
Rollings of Fairfield, Cal.; a step-son, Howard Kreps of Boulder, Colo.;
four sisters, Mrs. Lewis Ancil, Mrs. Don Hughes, Mrs. Kenneth Sexton, and
Mrs. Enver Mays, all of Kokomo; two brothers, Ralph Farrell of Muncie and
Robert Farrell of Kokomo; 21 grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Williamson and Spencer
Funeral Home, Portland, with the Rev. Larry Summers officiating. Burial will
be in Boundary Cemetery, near Portland. Friends may call after 1 p.m.
Wednesday.
