Rev. Jesse Jacobs died Sunday morning at ten o’clock at his home one mile
west of Boundary. He was sick about one week of pneumonia and owing to his
advanced age, recovery was impossible.
The deceased was 80 years, 2
months and 28 days old. For several years, he was a minister of the
Christian Church, but of late years he had been farming. He left a wife and
one son.
The funeral services will take place Wednesday morning from
the church at Boundary. The pall bearers with but one exception will be
ministers of the Christian faith. They are Rev. H. B. Bosworth, Rev. F.
Stovenour, Rev. O. A. Harris, Rev. D. F. Spade, Rev. Thomas Addington of
Ridgeville and Elijah Lyons. Rev. J. W. Watson of Indianapolis will conduct
its services.
