A former resident of Bluffton, Marcella Hiester, 83, of Decatur, died at 2:58 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2005, at the Adams County Memorial Hospital.
Born July 2, 1921, in New Haven to Roy and Emma Millington Ladig, her marriage was on March 25, 1938, in Craigville to George A. Hiester, who preceded her in death on March 3, 1980. Mrs. Hiester was a housewife.
Survivors include two sons, Carroll Hiester of Bluffton and Keith Hiester of Decatur; a daughter, Mrs. Jesse (Alice) Gephart of Bluffton; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and three step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Goodwin Memorial Chapel. Burial
will be at Boundary Cemetery in Portland. Visitation will be from 1 to 8
p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Service is 1:30 p.m. Monday at Goodwin Memorial Chapel, Bluffton, with calling there from noon to service time, and also from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
