Mrs. Daniel Wikel died Saturday at her home in Jefferson Township from a
stroke of apoplexy.
Mr. Wikel has been an invalid ever since the
accident which he sustained by being ran down by a train on the L.E. & W
tracks last May.
Saturday morning Mrs. Wikel had finished her work
and had gone to her husband’s room. She had been in the best of health up to
11 o’clock Saturday morning when she complained of feeling sick. She
attempted to go to bed, but fell to the floor from a stroke of apoplexy.
The funeral took place at 1 o’clock Monday. There were no services.
Burial was in Bost Cemetery.
