Lucas R. Holcomb age 26, of Portland passed away Friday May 15, 2020 in
Anderson, Indiana. He was born in Bluffton on June 13, 1993 the son of David
and Rhea (Byrum) Holcomb. He was married on May 27, 2017 to Maria Danielle
Small-White and she survives. He was a mechanic for E & B Paving in
Anderson. He was a 2012 Jay County High School graduate and member of Local
103 Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cars.
Surviving are his
wife Maria Danielle, parents David and Rhea Holcomb of Portland, Five
brothers Thomas Holcomb of Florida, Brandon Foreman (wife Amanda) of
Portland, Jeremy Holcomb (wife April) of Spencerville, Curt Foreman (wife
Jonelle) of Portland and Nick Foreman (wife Jessica) of Muncie, Three
sisters Janet Bernstein (husband Brandon) of Florida, Jessica Holcomb
(companion Rob Bricker) of Portland and Kristen Miller (husband Adam) of
Portland, several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will
be held Friday in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Borders
presiding. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be
Thursday from 2:00 – 8:00 PM with following social distancing practices.
Following the services on Friday family will meet guests at 12:00 PM in the
Lions Club Building in Portland for a time of food and fellowship. Memorials
can be made to St Judes Hospital, Riley Hospital or Peyton Manning's
Childrens Hospital.
