Floyd L. "Mick" Wheeler, 70, Pleasant Street, Dunkirk, died Thursday
at Miller's Merry Manor,
Dunkirk.
Born in Portland on Feb. 4,
1935, he was the son of Henry and Daisy (Brown) Wheeler.
A 1953 graduate
of Redkey High School, he worked at Tech Stamping, Muncie, as a machine
operator and was a member of the Tri-County Tractor and Engine Club.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Brenda) Sirois, Georgia, Mrs.
Dave (Elizabeth)
Gorneault, Connecticut, Vickie Wheeler, Massachusetts,
and Mrs. John (Tina) Viltz, Maine; two sons, Floyd L. Wheeler Jr., Dunkirk,
and Shannon Wheeler, Maine; his mother, Daisy M.
Remington, Dunkirk; a
sister, Mrs. Orrin (Freda) Franklin, Dunkirk; twelve grandchil
dren; and
one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at M.J.S.
Mortuaries -D.W. Jones Chapel, Dunkirk. Visitation
will be Monday from 1
to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery, southeast
of Portland.
