Daniel P. Wallace, 88, 13 Sesame Street, Portland, died Monday in the Jay
County Hospital. Born in Jay County on Dec. 6, 1915, to Daniel
and Dora (Imel) Wallace, he married Roberta Garringer on Oct. 1, 1945. She
survives.
He was a U.S. Army WWII veteran, a member of the Collett
Nazarene Church and Salamonia V.F.W.
Other survivors include a son,
Darrel Pat Wallace, Fort Wayne, and a grandson.
Services are Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Baird -Freeman Funeral Home with
Pastor Billy Stanton
officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch
Cemetery, with military graveside rites by the American
Legion Post No.
211.
Visitation is Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Collett Nazarene Church or AmeriCare Living
Center.
