Local Woman’s Brother Dies 
S.B Journey, 66, Brother of Mrs. 
	Elmer Ludy, Dies
Stephen B. Journy, age 66 died suddenly 
	Saturday morning at 7:20 due to a cerebral
hemorrhage. His death occurred 
	at the home of a son, Alva Journey, five miles south of
Ft. Recovery, 
	whom he had been visiting for two weeks.
A retired farmer, he had 
	made his home the past several years with a daughter, Mrs.
Carl Ludy on 
	W. Third St. at Portland. He was born near Brice, Noble twp., the son of
	Robert and Emily (Gillette) Journy.
In 1898 he was married to Iva 
	Shane felt who preceded him in death in 1914. Surviving
are two sons, 
	Alva, at whose home he died, and Charles, north of Union City; two
	daughters, Janelle, wife of Carl Ludy, W. Third St., Portland, and Florence, 
	wife of
Arthur Wagner, Nappanee, Ind., and 27 grandchildren and one 
	great-grandson. One
brother, J.R. Journy, south of Portland, and three 
	sisters, Della, wife of Elmer Ludy, of
near Berne, Mrs. Susan Hutchens, 
	Portland, and Phoebe, wife of Dick Shawver, Pike
twp., also survive.
	
Preceding him in death were two daughters two grandchildren, three 
	brothers and two
sisters. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 
	afternoon at 2:00 from the Antioch
church with Rev. J.O. Lewis 
	officiating. Burial will be made in the Antioch cemetery.
