Mrs. Catherine Dickes Arnett, 84, of 511 Locust Street, died at 2 o'clock
Sunday
afternoon of cerebral apoplexy.
Surviving are two
daughters, Mrs. Mary Eley Gaunt, with whom she resided and Mrs.
Della
Parsons of Ansonia, O.; nine grandchildren and two great -grandchildren; one
sister, Mrs. Barbara Sunday of Indianapolis.
She was born in Germany
and came to this country when four years old. She resided
most of her
life in Darke County, O., and Jay County, Ind.
Burial will be made in
Portland Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock in the Antioch
Cemetery. The
body will be taken to the Williamson Funeral Home in Portland.
