The Tribune Seymour, Indiana May 24, 1913 Saturday Page 1 DIPLOMAS WILL BE GIVEN TO 17 TOWNSHIP PUPILS Jackson and Redding Schools Will Be Held at Majestic Theater Wednesday Evening. Nine pupils of the Jackson township schools and eight from Redding township will receive ther diplomas at the annual commencement exercises at the Majestic theater Wednesday night. For several years the two townships hane held their commencement exercises together and the plan has been four to be very satisfactory. Handsome invitations, containing the program for the evening are being issued by the members of the classes to their friends. The invocation will be pronounced by the Rev. F. M. Huckleberry, pastor of the First Baptist church. Hon. Francis M. Griffith, formerly congressman from this district, will deliver the class address, having selected for his subject, "Does It Pay/" The diplomas will be presented by Superintendent J. E. Payne. During the program several selections will be rendered by the orchestra.
