Seymour Daily Tribune May 28, 2002 Donald D. Wilson Donald D. Wilson, 69, Freetown, died at 12:17 a.m. Monday, May 27, 2002, at Columbus Regional Hospital, Columbus. Mr. Wilson was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and had been a truck driver for several years with Commercial Motor Freight. He enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles and was a lifetime Jackson County resident. Born May 19, 1933, in Jackson County, he was a son of Virgil and Ruth Thompson Wilson. On May 16, 1953, in Jackson County, he married Evelyn C. Bruner and she died May 25, 1982. He is survived by four children, Tina Wilson, Indianapolis, Rick Wilson, Hope, Wyatt “Pudge” Wilson, Freetown, and Leah Harrison, Columbus; four brothers, Loren Wilson, Brownstown, Walter Wilson, Kurtz, Oran Wilson, Seymour, and Carl Wilson, Ogilville; three sisters, Hilda Marcott, Vallonia, Claudine Bowers, Ogilville, and Sharon Rollins, Houston; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and Alice Reed. He was also preceded by a son, two sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will be at Kurtz Cemetery, Kurtz. Military rites will be conducted at the gravesite. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
