Seymour Daily Tribune April 15, 2002 Carrie J. Wilson Carrie J. Wilson, 86, North Vernon, died at 7:15 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2002, at Jennings Healthcare Center, North Vernon. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and worked for Regal Rug in North Vernon for six years during the late 1960s and early 1970s. She was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church at Whitley County, Ky. Born June 26, 1915, in Whitley County, Ky., she was a daughter of Andrew J. and Riminta Cox Cadell, who both preceded her in death. On April 17, 1937, in Harlen County, Ky., she married Lindsey H. Wilson and he survives in North Vernon. She also is survived by five sons, Merrill Wilson, DeWayne Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, all of North Vernon, and David Wilson and James Wilson, both of Columbus; seven daughters, Janice M. McNutt, Carmel, Phyllis Carney, Joyce Sweet and Linda Vance, all of North Vernon, Wilma Quick, Columbus, Diana Kirby, Omaha, Neb., and Mary Helm, Fort Myers, Fla.; 33 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded by a grandson, five sisters and four brothers. The Rev. Patrick Harrigan will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home, North Vernon. Burial will be at Vernon cemetery, Vernon. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Jennings County.
