Seymour Tribune Seymour Native Dies In Calif. Mrs. Gladys Taylor, 65, a native of Seymour who spent her early life here, died Friday in Los Angeles, Calif. Although she had been iff for some time, death was due to a heart attack, relatives here learned. Mrs. Taylor was born March 30, 1907, in Seymour and was reared here. She was the daughter of the late William Alexander and of Mrs. Olive Martin Alexander, who survives at the Jackson Park Convalescent Center. She was the wife of Joseph A. Taylor and had visited her mother and other relatives here frequently in recent years. Beside the husband and mother she is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Eugene Hitch and Mrs. John Halle, both of Los Angeles; three sisters; Mrs. James (Della) Jaynes, Mrs. Arthur (Lucille) Gerth, both of Seymour, and Mrs. Wayne Wright, of Crothersville; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday from the Utter and McKindley Mortuary in Los Angeles with burial in a cemetery there.
