Former Local Resident Buried Here Saturday

Funeral services were conducted from the Zabel Funeral Home in Brownstown, Saturday morning, for Fred C. Robertson, a former resident who passed away early Thursday in the Washington County Hospital, following an illness of four years. Interment was in Fairview cemetery.

Officiating was the Rev. Brian Tansey, pastor of the Brownstown Presbyterian church.

Born in Newman, Illinois, January 16, 1885, the deceased was the son of the late Robert L. and Kate Cash Robertson. Survivors include Mrs. R. A. Brodhecker, of Brownstown, Mrs. Rose Robertson of Tampico, and Harry Robertson, of Indianapolis.

Also surviving are a grandson and five great-grandchildren.

During the twenties Mr. Robertson operated an auto repair shop in Brownstown.
