Susan Elaine Ison Leeper
Susan Elaine Ison Leeper, 51, Freetown, died at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
Mrs. Leeper was a member of Midway Apostolic Church, Medora, and was a certified nursing assistant and certified home health aide. She attended Brownstown Central High School and dedicated herself to helping other people.
Born Aug. 14, 1955, at Bedford, she was a daughter of Olaf Ison and Pauline Back, both of whom preceded her in death. On Feb. 4, 1989, in Jackson County, she married Jerry Leeper, who survives.
Other survivors include a son, Jason Mark Frick, Dayton, Ohio; three daughters, Carrie Parks, Austin, Amber A. Patrick, Seymour, and Jennifer Marie Leeper, Freetown; two sisters, Wanda Reinhart, Jacksonville, Fla., and Darlene Barnes, Eustis, Fla.; and six grandchildren, Brandon Monroe, Medora, Megan Patrick and Morgan Patrick, both of Seymour, Landon Stidam, Freetown, Joshua Parks, Austin, and Gavin Andrew Paul Jones, Freetown.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Courtney Monroe and Ashley Pauline Parks.
Cecil Bowling will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Sunday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will take place at Old Regular Baptist Cemetery, Freetown.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 p.m. until time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the family.
