Seymour Daily Tribune February 9, 2002 Callie M. Murray Hardin Johnson Callie M. Murray Hardin Johnson, 76, Edinburgh, died at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mrs. Johnson was a former dispatcher for the Edinburgh Police Department and was a member of Morgantown Apostolic Tabernacle. Born Jan. 6, 1926, in Knifley, Ky., she was a daughter of Clarence McGaha and Bertha Lewis McGaha. Survivors include seven sons, John, Donald, Michael and Mark Murray, all of Seymour, Robert Hardin and Phillip Johnson, both of New Albany, and Steven Johnson, Edinburgh; two daughters, Mary Sue Knight, Seymour, and Paula Johnson, North Vernon; three sisters, Beatrice Yates, Columbia, Ky., Dorothy Trisler, Whiteland, and Juanita Buchanan, Tucson, Ariz.; 32 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters. The Rev. James Sanders and the Rev. Grover Myers will conduct a graveside service at 1 p.m. today at Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh. Friends may call from noon until time of service today at the cemetery. Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, Edinburgh, is in charge of arrangements.
