Seymour Daily Tribune February 7, 2002 Lester F. Hunt Lester F. Hunt, 67, Shelbyville, died at 9:18 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at Major Hospital in Shelbyville. Mr. Hunt was a salesman for 30 years, retiring in 1998. He had been employed with ICI Paints in Indianapolis. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church of Greenfield and the American Legion, Eagles Lodge and Moose Lodge, all of Shelbyville. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958. Born Feb. 24, 1934, in Seymour, he was a son of Virgil Hunt and Ruby Major Hunt. On Oct. 9, 1955, he married Opal Stockamp Hunt, who survives. Other survivors include a son, Roger K. Hunt, Shelbyville; a daughter, Karen D. Keck, Kendallville; three grandchildren, Emily and Lindsay Hunt, both of Shelbyville, and Alison Keck, Kendallville; a brother, Raymond Hunt, Stockton, Calif.; and a sister, Phyllis Adams, Hanover. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. The Rev. Jerald Mielke will conduct services at 1 p.m. Saturday at Glenn E. George and Son Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
