The REPUBLICAN is in receipt of a very creditable obituary of Mrs. Henry Herkamp, who died near Honeytown last Friday and would gladly publish the same in full but for the fact that an extended notice of the death was published on Monday of this week. She was 54 years, 3 months and 20 days of age. She leaves eight children, five sons and three daughtery, also a brother and sister, Henry Schaefer and Mrs. Walkey. There are also twelve grand children. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Pierce, of the M. E. church. The same communication also contained a copy of the obituary of Mrs. Herkamp's first husband, Mr. Altemeier, who died March 17, 1882. We appreciate the favor and are sorry the communication could not have been received before we published the account of the death Monday.
