Geneva B. Henthorne

Geneva Brooks Henthorne, 80, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, at Covered Bridge Health Campus, Seymour.
She was a seamstress for Domestic Laundry of Seymour and retired as an accountant from Dickson and Brandenburger CPA in Columbus. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Seymour.
Born Jan. 21, 1926, in Jefferson County, she was a daughter of Charles and Nona Ellen (Woods) Brooks, both of whom preceded her in death. On June 4, 1944, she married William M. Henthorne, who preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 1977. On Aug. 18, 1984, she married Edward Heideman, who preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 1999.
Survivors include two sons, Gilbert Henthorne, Indianapolis and Charles Edwin Henthorne, Seymour; two daughters, Helen Tilford, Seymour, and Billie E. Henthorne, Louisville, Ky.; five grandchildren, Gilbert Ray Henthorne, Allen Henthorne, Charles Henthorne, Lonnie Tilford, and Jason Henthorne and two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Rachel Henthorne.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
The Rev. Steve Greene will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from noon until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to donor's choice.
