Mrs. Silas Guthrie died Thursday at her home west of Leesville of double pneumonia and was laid to rest in the Pinhook cemetery Saturday at 1 o'clock. She leaves an aged husband and three daughters, Mrs. Julia Root, Mrs. Curtis Witted and Mrs. Lizzie Younger. A number of grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and four brothers. Her age was 69 years.
