The Tribune Seymour, Indiana Tuesday, January 09, 1906 Page 3 Daniel Finley was born in Queens county, Ireland, November 7, 1830, being at his death in his seventy-sixth year. He came to America from Ireland in April 1861 and settled at Fort Ritner where he lived for thirteen years. In August 1874 he was united in marriage to Miss Anna FitsgiBbon, who survives him. He had been a citizen of Carr Township for the past thirty-one years and passed away at his home at Sparksville, after a lingering illness, at five o'clock and fifteen minutes, Friday, January 5, 1906. He was a member of the Catholic faith from childhood and held his church membership at Seymour, Ind. and called his minister to his bedside some weeks ago when he made his peace with his father and leaving earthly cares to others prepared to enter his eternal home. At his request he was buried at the Dixon cemetery, three miles north-west of Sparksville. ~Transcribed by: Alexandria Sandlin.
