CROTHERSVILLE YOUTH GIVES LIFE IN ACTION

Private Joseph Schill, Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Schill, Dies of Wounds

Mr. and Mrs. John Schill, of Crothersville, have received official notification from the war department that their son, Private Joseph Schill, has died of wounds received in action. His death occurred August 9, it was stated.

The young man was twenty-eight years of age and was called with the first quota from Marion county, a year ago this month. He had been employed in Indianapolis for several years before his entrance into the army.
