Thu Jun 20 John Armacost died.

John Wesley Armacost. Born on 8 Mar 1835 in Clermont Co., OH son of  Isaac and Elizabeth McCall Armacost.. Member of the 7th OH Cavalry, The River Regiment, during civil war, captured in Nashville and sent to Andersonville.  He was released as part of a prisoner exchange and walked home from GA to OH .He died in Henry Co., IN, on 2 Jun 1902. Buried in Locust Grove Ger. Bapt. Cemetery, outside of New Lisbon, IN On 5 Oct In1862 he married Laura Stairs, daughter of Noble Stairs, (15 Oct 1811-2 Sep 1900) & Mary  Wilson Holmes (20 Sep 1820-1904), in Clermont Co., OH. Born on 22 Aug 1842. Laura died on 23 Apr 1907; she was 64. Buried in Locust Grove Ger. Bapt. Cemetery, outside of New Lisbon, IN.

Garfield A. “Gar” Armacost , son of John and Laura Stairs Armacost was orn on 16 May 1883. He. died on 18 Oct 1909; Buried in Locust Grove Ger. Bapt. Cemetery, outside of New Lisbon, IN. He married a woman named Winfred (last name unknown) who died in 1904.
