(Most of the documents were assembled in the 1920's, but often refer to events from much earlier.  There is a tremendous amount of detail referring to proof of family relationships.)

Rollin Maxam, being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that he was personally acquainted with Hugh Hanna, who in life and at the time of his death was the owner, and in possession of 160 acres of land in Gibson County, Indiana known and described as; the NE 1/4 of Section 36, Town 1 south, Range 12 west, and also the west part of Lot 16, in Archer's Enlargement to the Town  (now city) of Princeton, and he knows that said Hugh Hanna departed this life, in testate, on or about the 1st day of Dec., 1920 leaving him surviving as his heirs and only heirs at law, Mary J. Hanna, his widow, and his four children, namely; Hugh Hanna, David C. Hanna, Elizabeth Thompson the wife of W. Henry Thompson and Mary K. Woods the wife of John B. Woods.
