(Most of the documents were assembled in the 1920's, but often refer to events from much earlier.  There is a tremendous amount of detail referring to proof of family relationships.)

Oliver L. Mason, being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that he was personally acquainted with Sarah Dixon, Catherine Dixon and William Dixon, who on the 5th day of April 1892 executed a deed of conveyance to Thomas M. Palmer for lots 17 & 24 in Shoptaugh's Addition to the town of Francisco, in Gibson County Indiana, and he positively knows that at the time of executing said deed of conveyance the said Sarah Dixon was a widow, and the said Catherine Dixon and William Dixon were each unmarried both parties being the heirs of Joseph Dixon, deceased.
