(Most of the documents were assembled in the 1920's, but often refer to events from much earlier.  There is a tremendous amount of detail referring to proof of family relationships.)

Landon Kell, being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that he was personally acquainted with Erasmus D. McMaster one of the parties to whom on the 24th day of January 1891, William R. Wright and wife conveyed Lot #23 and other lots in Clarksville adjoining Princeton, in Gibson County, Indiana, and was personally acquainted with E. D. McMaster who on the 14 day of June 1892, with others executed a deed of conveyance to Emma West for said Lot #23,and he positively knows that the said Erasmus D. McMaster and the said E. D. McMaster was one and the same person, affiant further says E. D. McMaster was an unmarried man and lived as such his entire life. Signed Landon Kell.
