(Most of the documents were assembled in the 1920's, but often refer to events from much earlier.  There is a tremendous amount of detail referring to proof of family relationships.)

Joseph D. Hussey, being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that he was personally acquainted with George Granger sometimes written George Grainger, who in life and at the time of his death was the owner of Lot # 46, and all of Lot #37, except a strip of ground 25 feet wide on west side of said lot all in the Original Plan of the Town of Francisco, in Gibson County, and he positively knows said George Granger departed this life, in testate, prior to the 17th day of July 1899, leaving him surviving no widow, but left him surviving as his heirs and only heirs at law his four children, namely; Louisa R. Strickland the wife of George Strickland, Mary A. Meade the wife of Joseph M. Meade, James A. Granger and Elizabeth G. Granger.       Signed Joseph D.
