(Most of the documents were assembled in the 1920's, but often refer to events from much earlier.  There is a tremendous amount of detail referring to proof of family relationships.)

John T. Ballard, being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that he was personally acquainted with John Sipp, who in life and at the time of his death was the owner of real estate in Gibson County, Indiana described as follows; the S 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of Section 2, Town 3 south, Range 11 west, and he positively knows that said John Sipp departed this life, in testate, on or about the 17th day of July 1907 leaving him surviving no widow, but leaving as his heirs and only heirs at law, his four children, namely; William W. Sipp, Margaret Sipp, Lula Sipp and Olive Sipp signed, John T. Ballard          Subscribed and sworn to before me on this 13th day of December, 1926 signed Charles W. Benton, Notary Public
