John
Cleveland, being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that
he was personally acquainted with William McReynolds who on the 9th day of
July 1881, executed a deed of conveyance to
Charles H. Wille and Benjamin F. Davis for the SE 1/4 of the
NW 1/4 of Section 25, Town 3 south, Range 13 West and other lands all in Gibson
County, and he positively knows that at the time of executing said deed of conveyance
the said William McReynolds was a widower and had
no living wife to join him in said
conveyance. Signed John Cleveland. Subscribed and sworn to before me on this 23rd day of
