(Most of the documents were assembled in the 1920's, but often refer to events from much earlier.  There is a tremendous amount of detail referring to proof of family relationships.)

Sanford Trippett, being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that he was personally acquainted with Elias Beadle, who in life and at the time of his death was the owner of 5 acres more or less lying in Militia Donation 32 Town 1 north, Range 10 west and south of the Original Plan of Hazleton and other property, in the town of Hazleton, all Gibson County, Indiana, and he was personally acquainted with Henry E. Beadle, whose estate was administered upon and settled by Della Beadle, administrator, in the year of 1925, as shown by the Probate Order Books of Gibson Circuit Court, and he positively knows that the said Elias Beadle and the said Henry E. Beadle was one and the same person, notwithstanding the difference in writing the name, and that the Della Beadle Goss who on the 1st day of Dec. 1926, conveyed said 5 acres to Charles Elmer Wolfe was one and the same person as Della Beadle the surviving widow of Elias Beadle, deceased.
