(Most of the documents were assembled in the 1920's, but often refer to events from much earlier.  There is a tremendous amount of detail referring to proof of family relationships.)

Samuel A. Stewart, being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that he was personally acquainted with William D. Daniels, who in life and at the time of his death was the owner of various tracts of land in Gibson County, Indiana among which is that certain tract described as the south fractional part of Section 5, Town 1 south, Range 11 west, containing 48 acres more or less and he knows that said William D. Daniels departed this life, testate, in the month of August 1905, prior to the 10th  day of said month, leaving him surviving as his heirs and only heirs at law, his widow Kate B. Daniels and his six children, namely; William E. Daniels, Estella Daniels, Emily D. Pickrell the wife of Walter B. Pickrell, Sarah Pickrell the wife of Edwin Pickrell, Abby Markee the wife of Will A. Markee and Esther E. Kruger the wife of George E Kruger. Signed, Samuel A. Stewart. Subscribed and sworn to before me on this 10th day of December, 1926 signed Charles W. Benton, Notary Public
