(Most of the documents were assembled in the 1920's, but often refer to events from much earlier.  There is a tremendous amount of detail referring to proof of family relationships.)

Thomas R. Paxton being first duly sworn on his oath deposes and says, that he was personally acquainted with Eusebia Williams, Flora Williams, Ann Williams, Sarah Williams and Mary Williams, who on the 8th day of October 1879, executed a deed of conveyance to John W. Steelman for lot # 3 in Williams Addition to the Town of Princeton, in Gibson County Indiana, and he positively knows that at the time of executing said deed of conveyance the said Eusebia Williams was a widow and the said Flora Williams, Ann Williams, Sarah Williams and Mary Williams were each of them unmarried. Said parties being the widow and children and only heirs at law of Henry Williams, deceased. Signed Thomas R. Paxton .
