Sammie Stevens Passes Away at Home Near Francisco

Francisco, Ind., Dec. 1. - Sammie Stevens, a well known young man living southwest of here, died Thursday morning at 3 o'clock, after a lingering illness with tuberculosis of the bowels. He was 30 years of age and is survived by the wife and three children. He was an excellent man and held in high esteem by all who knew him.

The funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at Providence church, south of here, conducted by Rev. Thompson, of the Francisco Methodist church. Interment was in Providence cemetery.
