Audrey Jean McCain age 81 passed away Monday March 30, 2009 at the Willow Manor Nursing Home in Vincennes, IN. She was born March 28, 1928 in Knox County, IN to Owen Landis and Bessie Lou (Thompson) Goldman. She was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife. She enjoyed being outdoors, raising flowers and caring for her livestock. She had attended Decker Chapel United Methodist Church.

Audrey is survived by a son: James Kenneth (Pam) McCain Jr. of Keota, OK, two daughters: Janice McCain, Patoka and Joyce (Stan) Michel, Ft. Branch, two sisters: Edna Hess Vincennes and Doris Gray, St. Francisville, IL, six grandchildren: Brandon, Brittney, and Jamie McCain and Matthew, Michael and Gretchen Michel.

Her parents and her husband James Kenneth McCain Sr preceded her in death.

Private funeral services will be held at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka, with the Rev. Greg Davis officiating. Burial will follow the services. There will be no visitation. Colvin Funeral Home in charge arrangements.
