Charles F. Sheridan (90): June 9, 1928 – May 27, 2019

Charles was born in Princeton, IN to the late Francis V. Sheridan and Susan F. (Cannavan) Sheridan who, along with his siblings, Patricia, Joan, Rita, and Donald preceded him in death.

Surviving are wife of 70 years, W. Faye Sheridan, children Lisa (Bill) Schneider, Lynn (Mike) Baumgart, Phil, Peter (Enrique Blanco), David (Josie), Bonnie (Mike) Coghlan, and Stuart (Gina). He has numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Charlie retired from Emge’s in 1990 after 43 years of service. He then served two terms as Gibson County Recorder, retiring in 1998. He also managed the family farm, grew the family garden, served in the National Guard, coached Little League baseball, sang in Sts. Peter & Paul and St James Church choirs, was an Honorary Life member of the Knights of Columbus #2215, CRHP, multiple barbershop quartets, and the Evansville Songfellows barbershop chorus.

A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 AM Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 211 N. Vine St., Haubstadt. There will be no visitation before Mass. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 29 in the Sts. Peter and Paul Family Life Center from 4 to 8 PM with a Rosary service beginning at 3:30 PM.
