Donald D. Walton, age 86 passed away Sunday April 7, 2019 at the Linda White Hospice House in Evansville.

He was born June 12, 1932 in Evansville to the late Eldon and Minerva (Price) Walton.

Don retired from Whirlpool Corp.

He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church where he was a Eucharistic minister and was a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserves. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Charlene in 2000, a sister, Sonya McQueen and a brother, Kenneth Walton.

Don is survived by his two daughters; Carla (James) Waelde of Evansville and Tracy (Brian) Wolf of Haubstadt. Four grandchildren: Chris and Andy Waelde and Haley and Austin Wolf. One sister, Bonnie Beaven of Newburgh.

A Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 12 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with burial following in the church cemetery with military rites.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 PM Thursday, April 11 at Wade Funeral Home with a Rosary service beginning at 3:30 PM. Friends may also call from 10 AM until Mass time Friday at the church.
