Anita E. (Goedde) Tenbarge,
97, of Haubstadt, IN passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the River Oaks
Health Campus in Princeton, IN.
Anita was born August 9, 1921 in Evansville, IN to the
late Henry and Rosina (Fals) Goedde.
She was a member of Sts.
Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt and a homemaker.
Surviving Anita are three daughters, Rosemary (Mike) Shourds of Southside, AL, Carol Sue (Warren) Meinschein of Cincinnati, OH and Doris (Walter) Kreyling of Venetia, PA; five sons, Frank (Monica) Tenbarge of Scottsdale, AZ, Larry (Kathy) Tenbarge of Santa Claus, IN, David (Michelle) Tenbarge of Evansville, Harold (Jennifer) Tenbarge of Carmel, IN and Steve (Stacey) Tenbarge of Haubstadt; two sisters, Malinda Anslinger and Katherine Grider,
both of Evansville; seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in
death by her husband, Francis Tenbarge in 1999; by
two sisters, Florence Yellig and Olivia Blough; two brothers, Gilbert and Elmer Goedde and by a
grandson, Reid Meinschein.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 11:00
AM on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Sts. Peter and Paul
Catholic Church, Haubstadt, IN, Rev. Tony Ernst officiating. Burial will follow
in the Sts. Peter and Paul Church cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 7:00
PM on Monday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and from 10:00 AM
until service time on Tuesday at Sts. Peter and Paul
Catholic Church.
